THE OUTSIDER  [2013]

With the 'Entente Cordiale' not long released, I can understand you thinking this announcement may be a little premature.   However, I thought I'd share my current thinking with you.

I left the UK more than a few years ago, to carve out a new home, and a professional song writing career, here in France.   For me, the language barrier still remains my big hurdle.

I'm proud of my first efforts at writing a song in French, [Qu'est-ce que j'ai fait? - 2010], but I haven't forgotten that it took me almost one year to fully complete that process!   I hope that my future writings, in French, will become easier.

So, onto this new album, and I believe it's now time to move my Song Lyrics to another level.   I plan to draw on my experiences of being a stranger in a foreign land, and to write about the difficulties of integrating into a new society.   Sounds heavy?   - No, I see it it as just another step on the ladder.

And the gap between now and 2013?   I continue to promote the current album, [Entente Cordiale], ... rehearse my Live gigs, ... continue writing for this new album, ... and attend my waiting customers at my Recording Studio [glockyerstudios.com] ... lots to do ...
